Developmental Editing Faq’s: Part 1!

So, what’s the deal with your Developmental Editing Reports?

I’m glad you asked 😉

I’m very detail oriented and I like to have my information organized into sections. It makes it easier to sort through my comments and suggestions, making it easier for you to self-edit.

Being able to see everything listed out this way helps me to check for consistency in character descriptions, setting, pace, and readability.

This is my standard sample edit report that I send out when reading the sample of work you send me.

If you decide to move forward and work with me, the report will be expanded upon with chapter-by-chapter notes, and a list of hooks that can be used to draw attention to your work on social media.
